Doggocart Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 21 September 2026 | Last updated: 21 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to www.doggocart.in and your purchase and use of Doggocart products and services. They are designed for Doggocart's fresh dog-food ordering and local-delivery operations. Please read them before creating an account or placing an order.
By using the website, creating an account, submitting an order or otherwise accepting these Terms, you agree to be bound by them and by the policies referred to in them. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

1 About Doggocart
Doggocart offers fresh food and related products for dogs through its website and supported ordering channels. In these Terms, Doggocart, we, us and our refer to the business operating www.doggocart.in. You and your refer to the customer or website user.
2 Eligibility and customer accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order. When creating or using an account, you agree to:
· Provide accurate, current and complete information.
· Keep your password and one-time passwords confidential.
· Update your contact and delivery information when it changes.
· Accept responsibility for activity carried out through your account, except where caused by our breach or a security failure outside your reasonable control.
Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may request reasonable verification before changing account information, processing a refund or disclosing order details.
3 Product information
We aim to present product names, ingredients, pack sizes, prices, nutrition information, photographs and availability accurately. Because products are prepared from natural ingredients, colour, texture, moisture, shape and visible ingredient pieces may vary between batches. Product photographs are illustrative and display settings may affect colours.
A product description, feeding guide or other website content is general information, not a guarantee that the product is suitable for every dog. The label and information supplied with the delivered product should be checked before feeding. If website information and the delivered label differ, contact us before using the product.
4 Feeding suitability and veterinary advice
Doggocart products are intended for dogs and are not for human consumption. Feeding quantities, calories and nutrition information are general guides. A dog's needs can vary according to age, size, breed, activity, pregnancy, health and other foods or treats. Consult a veterinarian for an individual feeding plan, especially if your dog is a puppy, elderly, pregnant, has allergies or sensitivities, takes medication, or has a diagnosed health condition.
Our website, labels and customer-support communications do not provide veterinary diagnosis or treatment and do not replace professional veterinary advice. We do not claim that a product will prevent, treat or cure disease unless such a claim is expressly authorised by law. Stop feeding the product and seek veterinary advice if your dog experiences an adverse reaction.
5 Ingredients and allergies
Review the full ingredient and allergen information before ordering and feeding. Products may be prepared or handled in a facility where other animal proteins, grains, fish, dairy, eggs or other ingredients are present. Although reasonable care is taken, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of unintended traces unless expressly stated. Contact us before ordering if your dog has a known or suspected allergy or intolerance.
6 Service areas and availability
Delivery is available only to the locations and pincodes accepted by our checkout or separately confirmed by us. A pincode appearing serviceable does not guarantee that every address, product or delivery time is available. Availability may depend on preparation capacity, stock, weather, access conditions, delivery capacity and other operational factors. We may decline or cancel an order we cannot reasonably fulfil and will refund any amount collected for the cancelled item or order.
7 Orders and order acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated acknowledgement only confirms that we received the request; the order is accepted when we send an acceptance or preparation confirmation, dispatch it, or otherwise begin fulfilment. We may contact you to verify order details, address, pincode, payment or availability.
We may refuse or cancel an order where:
· The product or delivery service is unavailable.
· The address is outside the service area or cannot reasonably be accessed.
· The price, discount, description or availability contained an obvious error.
· Payment is not authorised or appears fraudulent.
· The order breaches these Terms, applicable law or a stated purchase limit.
If we cancel after receiving payment, we will initiate a refund for the affected amount through the original payment method, unless another lawful method is agreed with you.
8 Prices taxes and promotions
Prices are displayed in Indian rupees. Applicable taxes, delivery fees and other charges will be shown on the product page or during checkout as required. Prices and availability may change before an order is accepted. A confirmed order will not normally be affected by a later price change, except where the original price was clearly erroneous and the law permits correction.
Discount codes, introductory offers, loyalty benefits and promotions may have separate conditions, expiry dates, service-area limits, minimum order values or usage limits. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively. We may withdraw or correct a promotion where permitted by law, including in cases of error, misuse or fraud.
9 Payments
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include online payment or cash on delivery where offered. Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Their terms and privacy practices may apply. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
If a payment is debited but the order is not confirmed, contact us with the transaction reference. Depending on the payment provider and banking network, a failed or reversed payment may take time to return to the original account. We will provide reasonable assistance but do not control bank or payment-network processing times.
10 Delivery
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed service. Fresh preparation, traffic, weather, address access, customer availability and events outside our control may affect delivery. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material delays using the contact details provided with the order.
You are responsible for:
· Providing a complete and accurate address, pincode, telephone number and delivery instructions.
· Ensuring that you or an authorised recipient is available to receive the order.
· Checking the package promptly on delivery and following the storage instructions without delay.
Delivery is completed when the order is handed to you, an authorised recipient, security desk or another location expressly instructed by you. If delivery fails because the address or contact information is incorrect, access is unavailable or nobody can receive the order, we will contact you where reasonably possible. Any redelivery fee will be communicated before redelivery.
11 Storage and safe handling
Fresh and chilled products must be handled and stored exactly as stated on the label or packaging. Refrigerate or freeze promptly where instructed, observe the use-by date, use clean utensils, avoid cross-contamination, and discard food that has been left outside the stated storage conditions or shows signs of spoilage, leakage, swelling, unusual odour or damaged packaging.
After successful delivery, we are not responsible for deterioration caused by delayed collection, exposure to heat, improper storage, unsafe handling, use after the stated date or failure to follow instructions, except to the extent the problem was caused by Doggocart or its delivery provider.
12 Cancellations
You may request cancellation before preparation or dispatch begins by contacting us with the order number. Because products may be freshly prepared for a specific order and have a short shelf life, cancellation may not be possible after preparation or dispatch has started. We will not restrict any cancellation right that applies mandatorily under law.
For an approved prepaid cancellation, we will initiate the refund to the original payment method. Payment-provider and bank processing times may apply. If only part of an order is cancelled, the refund will be limited to the affected item and any directly attributable charge, as applicable.
13 Returns replacements and refunds
Fresh and perishable food cannot ordinarily be returned for a change of mind, an incorrect customer selection, taste preference, a dog's refusal to eat, or a feeding-plan change. This restriction does not apply where a product is wrong, missing, damaged, leaking, spoiled on delivery, unsafe, materially different from its description, or otherwise subject to a remedy under applicable law.
If there is a problem with an order:
· Contact us promptly after delivery at contact@doggocart.in or +91 99941 68416.
· Provide the order number, a clear description and photographs or video of the product, packaging, label and batch details where reasonably available.
· Do not feed a product that may be unsafe. Retain the product and packaging safely if we ask to inspect or collect them, unless keeping them would create a health or safety risk.
After reviewing the issue, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, refund, partial refund or another remedy required by law. Refunds are generally made to the original payment method. A replacement remains subject to availability and the service area. These Terms do not reduce statutory rights relating to defective, deficient, unsafe or misdescribed goods or services.
14 Customer conduct
You must not:
· Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
· Attempt to access another person's account or restricted systems.
· Interfere with website security, introduce malware, scrape the website at unreasonable scale or disrupt service.
· Misuse promotions, refunds, chargebacks, reviews or customer-support channels.
· Copy or commercially exploit website content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
We may restrict access, cancel affected orders or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Doggocart, service providers or the website, subject to applicable law.
15 Reviews and customer content
If you submit a review, testimonial, photograph, video or other content, you confirm that you created it or have permission to use it, that it is accurate to your experience, and that it does not violate law or another person's rights. Do not publish personal contact information, payment data, unlawful content, misleading claims or content unrelated to the product.
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content for publication, you grant Doggocart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it in connection with Doggocart's website, products and marketing, unless you and Doggocart agree otherwise. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms, while respecting applicable law.
16 Intellectual property
The Doggocart name, logo, website design, text, graphics, product photographs, videos and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Doggocart and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping. No other right is granted without written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
17 Third party services and links
The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment gateways, mapping, communications, hosting and social-media services. We are not responsible for an independent third party's content, availability or practices, except where applicable law makes us responsible. Review the third party's terms and privacy notice before using its service.
18 Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal data. It forms part of the rules governing your use of the website. By providing personal data, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it.
19 Website availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, technical failures or events outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an as-available basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every error will be corrected immediately.
Any disclaimer in these Terms is subject to applicable consumer law. Nothing excludes a guarantee, warranty, liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or defective or unsafe products where exclusion is prohibited.
20 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doggocart will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was accepted. For a claim relating to a specific order, our aggregate contractual liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order, except where a higher or different liability is required by law.
We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate customer information, unauthorised account use that was not caused by us, failure to follow feeding or storage instructions, use after the stated date, an undisclosed allergy or health condition, or events outside our reasonable control. This section does not limit statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
21 Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Doggocart for reasonable losses, claims and costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the website, deliberate misuse of an account, infringement of another person's rights, or customer content that violates these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a loss was caused by Doggocart.
22 Events outside reasonable control
Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, such as severe weather, flood, fire, epidemic, government restriction, transport disruption, utility or network failure, civil disturbance or supplier interruption. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, communicate material disruption and provide any refund or other remedy required by law.
23 Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time and may request account closure subject to retention required by law. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, create a security risk, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose before termination.
24 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in products, operations, technology or law. The revised version will be posted on the website with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date and will not alter an accepted order unless required by law or agreed with you. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
25 General provisions
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective and the affected provision will be interpreted as closely as lawfully possible to its intended purpose. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a genuine business reorganisation or transfer, provided your statutory rights are not reduced. These Terms and the policies expressly referred to in them form the agreement concerning use of the website and orders.
26 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and the jurisdiction of consumer commissions or other competent authorities, courts with jurisdiction in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or an order.
